Membership fees can be paid monthly via recurring credit card charge or debit card. Pro-rated fees will be due at time of enrollment and may vary depending upon enrollment date. Membership fees for the following month will automatically be deducted from the member’s bank account around the 20th of the current month. Any requested changes must be submitted prior to the 10th of the month in order to be processed for the following month.
One-time annual payments for membership fees may be paid in full by cash, check or major credit card. The annual rate is a monthly rate multiplied by 12 with a 5% discount. Membership rates and details are subject to change.
There is a $25 charge for each insufficient funds transaction. This places your membership on hold until payment is received.
Individuals, families, and seniors who cannot afford Kroc Center Hawaii membership or fees for youth camps and/or group classes can apply for a discount. Eligibility for this program is based on income level and available funds. Scholarship applications are available at the Member Services Desk.
Changes or cancellations to a membership must be submitted in writing by the primary member only using a “Cancellation/Change Form” available at the Member Services Desk. There is a $20 fee for primary changes and downgrades. A $25 fee will be assessed for cancellations after the 10th day of the month.
Membership fees are nonrefundable. In order to cancel a membership, members must submit a written request by the 10th day of the current month for it to become effective in the following month. If a member cancels or if membership payments lapse for more than 30 days, the appropriate registration fee will be charged to reopen the membership account. A $25 fee will be assessed for cancellations after the 10th day of the month.
Any requested change that affects the billing of your membership must be submitted in writing by the 10th of the month by the primary on the account to be processed for the following month.
If you are not able to use Kroc Center Hawaii due to injury or illness, or if you are traveling out of state for over 30 days, you may put your membership on hold for up to 3 months with verification. A doctor’s note may be requested for medical holds and an itinerary verifying your travel. An account on hold will not be drafted. Lost membership cards must be reported and replaced within 30 days. There is a $5 fee to replace a membership card.
Please read this Waiver carefully as it affects your legal rights in the event of an injury, contraction of a communicable disease, infection and/or damage to property. Participants understand that the use of the facilities and/or services may involve risk of bodily injury, property damage, contraction of a communicable disease and/or contraction of a viral or bacterial infection and agree to assume any such risks. In case of illness or accident at our facility, The Salvation Army Community Center is authorized to secure emergency medical treatment at member/participant’s expense. It is up to the participant to consult physicians and other professionals to make sure that they can safely participate in activities and events offered by The Salvation Army Community Center. Participant also understands and agrees that by registering, they are giving up their right (or the minor for whom they register) to make any claim against The Salvation Army, its agents, employees, and volunteers, including the right to sue them, for bodily injury, property damage, contraction of a communicable disease and/or contraction of a viral or bacterial infection of any type and/or any other loss that they might suffer while using The Salvation Army Community Center facilities and/or services, except as limited by law.
Guest passes may be purchased for a one day usage of the facility. Individuals purchasing a guest pass will be required to show photo I.D. (ages 18+). This information is used to conduct a background screening. Your safety is important to us. By showing your photo I.D. at the Member Services Desk, you help Kroc Center Hawaii provide a quality experience where individuals and families can work, play and grow together in a safe and nurturing environment. Kroc Center Hawaii reserves the right to restrict Guest Passes at any time for safety and service reasons. Members are allowed to sponsor up to 4 individuals at the guest pass rate, per membership plan.
If you have lost an item, complete a “Lost and Found” form which will assist staff in the event they locate your item. Staff will not call if the item is not found. Unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity regularly. Kroc Center Hawaii assumes no responsibility for personal belongings left at the facility .
Lockers are available at no charge. Guests are responsible for supplying their own locks and clearing lockers after each use. Kroc Center Hawaii is not liable for lost or stolen property. Unclaimed locks will be removed regularly. Any items left in locker will go to Lost and Found.
Public drop-in access is intended for inclusive recreational use; any external personal or group training/coaching is prohibited. Contact the Health & Wellness Director at (808) 693-8329 for specific group requests.
Youth 12 years and older are welcome to visit Kroc Center Hawaii and do not require adult supervision in certain areas. Youth, ages 11 and under, are required to be supervised by an adult 18 years or older at all times. Visits are not intended to service youth for a full day. For a fee and on scheduled days, Kroc Center Hawaii offers supervised full-day programming as an option for working parents. Recommended length of time for a visit to Kroc Center Hawaii for an unsupervised youth is 3 hours, or less. Kroc Center Hawaii reserves the right to revoke membership or deny access to any individuals who abuse this privilege.
