Monthly Payments/One-time Annual Payment
Membership fees can be paid monthly via recurring credit card charge or electronic funds transfer (bank account debit). Pro-rated fees will be due at time of enrollment and may vary depending upon enrollment date. To complete the electronic funds transfer process, a voided check must be provided with a completed membership form. Membership fees for the following month will automatically be deducted from the member’s bank account around the 20th of the current month. Any requested changes must be submitted prior to the 10th of the month in order to be processed for the following month.
One-time annual payments for membership fees may be paid in full by cash, check or major credit card. The annual fee and required registration fee are due at time of enrollment.
Insufficient Funds
There is a $25 charge for each insufficient funds transaction. This places your membership on hold until payment is received.
Financial Assistance/Scholarship Program
Individuals, families, and seniors who cannot afford Kroc Center Hawaii membership or fees for youth camps and/or group classes can apply for a discount. Eligibility for this program is based on income level and available funds. Scholarship applications are available online or at the Member Services Desk.
Changing or Cancelling A Membership
Changes or cancellations to a membership must be submitted in writing using a “Cancellation/Change Form” available at the Member Services Desk.
CANCELLATIONS
Membership fees are nonrefundable. In order to cancel a membership, members must submit a written request by the 10th day of the current month for it to become effective in the following month. If a member cancels or if membership payments lapse for more than 30 days, the appropriate registration fee will be charged to reopen the membership account. There is no cancellation fee.
MEMBERSHIP CHANGES
Any requested change that affects the billing of your membership must be submitted in writing by the 10th of the month to be processed for the following month. If changes occur after the 10th of the month, please see the Member Services Desk for pro-rated amount.
Medical/Travel Holds
If you are not able to use Kroc Center Hawaii due to injury or illness, or if you are traveling out of state for over 30 days, you may put your membership on hold for up to 3 months with a written request. A doctor’s note may be requested for medical holds. An account on hold will not be drafted. To restore your membership privileges, see a Member Services Representative.
Lost Membership Card
Lost membership cards must be reported and replaced within 30 days. There is a $10 fee to replace a membership card.
Day Pass Purchase
Individuals purchasing a day pass will be required to show photo I.D. (ages 18+). Non-member day pass purchases are available Sundays through Fridays only, excluding holidays. Day pass card holders and day pass purchases by members available daily. Kroc Center Hawaii may use this information to consult public sources to help determine whether a guest may pose unreasonable harm to our patrons, staff or visitors. Your safety is important to us. By showing your photo I.D. at the Member Services Desk, you help Kroc Center Hawaii provide a quality experience where individuals and families can work, play and grow together in a safe and nurturing environment.
Lost and Found
If you have lost an item, complete a “Lost and Found” form which will assist staff in the event they locate your item. All items are stored in a secure area away from the Member Services area. If an item has been found, staff will call you and hold the item at Member Services. Staff will not call if the item is not found. Unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity regularly.
Lockers
Lockers are available at no charge. Guests are responsible for supplying their own locks and clearing lockers after each use. Kroc Center Hawaii is not liable for lost or stolen property. Unclaimed locks will be removed at the end of each business day. Any items left in locker will go to Lost and Found.
Group/Personal Coaching
Public drop-in access is intended for inclusive recreational use; any external personal or group training/coaching is prohibited. Contact the Health & Wellness Director at (808) 682-5505 for specific group requests.
Youth Visiting Without Parent/Guardian
Youth 12 years and older are welcome to visit Kroc Center Hawaii and do not require adult supervision in certain areas. Youth, ages 11 and under, are required to be supervised by an adult 18 years or older at all times. Visits are not intended to service youth for a full day. For a fee and on scheduled days, Kroc Center Hawaii offers supervised full-day programming as an option for working parents. Recommended length of time for a visit to Kroc Center Hawaii for an unsupervised youth is 3 hours, or less. Kroc Center Hawaii reserves the right to revoke membership or deny access to any individuals who abuse this privilege.
