Preschool Overview

Kroc Keiki Learning Center is a new option for preschool, offering children a safe, loving Christ-centered environment to learn and grow in. We believe each child is a unique gift from God. The teachers and staff are committed to nurturing each child’s spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical growth through a program that offers an environment rich in new learning experiences, play, exploration and celebration.

Curriculum

Kroc Keiki Learning Center’s curriculum consists of Bible-based themes integrated into all areas of development. Together, teachers and students explore and expand skills in:

• Language / Literacy

• Mathematical / Logical Thinking

• Music / Rhythm

• Visual Arts

• Relationship Building

• Small and Large Muscle Growth & Movement

• Understanding the Natural World

• Learning About One’s Self

 

By incorporating circle times, learning centers, special projects, excursions, Chapel times, family activities and educational activities utilizing Kroc Center Hawaii facilities, your child will experience a balance of stable routines and new experiences.

Hours/Tuition

School hours will be Monday-Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. School will begin on March 5th for potty-trained students in the 3 and 4 year old classes.

Monthly tuition will be $795 and includes breakfast, lunch and snacks each day. 

Ages

Kroc Keiki Learning Center is a licensed group care center for children ages 2–5. Enrollment opens in March 2012 for toilet trained 3–4 year olds. The 2 year old program is anticipated to open at a later date.

Teacher to Student Ratios

The state licensing requirements will always be met, but we believe that smaller class sizes result in a higher quality program and will strive to meet NAEYC accreditation recommendations of a 1:10, teacher to student ratio with an average of under twenty children per classroom.

Enrollment is on a first come basis, based on the date your application is received. You will be notified as openings become available.
