Code of Conduct & Discipline Policy

In order to facilitate positive life experiences while at The Salvation Army Kroc Center Hawaii, mutual respect between members, guests, and staff is required at all times. Failure to observe these policies will result in disciplinary action and/or termination of membership privileges. Kroc Center Hawaii staff have the right to refuse service to anyone deemed disruptive or abusive.


  1. Children, ages 11 and under, must be accompanied while visiting Kroc Center Hawaii.
  2. Refrain from the use of foul language, abusive actions, and inappropriate behavior.
  3. Lost membership cards must be reported and replaced within 30 days. Replacement of membership cards: $5 fee.
  4. Tailgating, picnics, recreational skateboarding and horseplay are not allowed anywhere in the parking lot or on the street fronting Kroc Center Hawaii.
  5. With exceptions for special dietary restrictions, outside food is not allowed at The Salvation Army Kroc Center Hawaii. Bags may be subject to search.
  6. Smoking and/or use of any type of smokeless tobacco, including e-cigarettes, are allowed in designated area only.
  7. Health & Wellness Center:
    1. For the health & comfort of all patrons, please carry a towel to wipe down each piece of equipment after use.
    2. Proper workout attire and athletic shoes are required (no jeans, cut shirts, street shoes or open-toed footwear). Large bags and backpacks are not allowed in the Health & Wellness Center. Please store large bags and personal belongings in secured lockers. For your convenience with holding small personal items, we do permit small bags not exceeding 14"x18"x6" in the Health & Wellness facility.
    3. No one under the age of 13 is allowed in the Weight Room unless participating in a Kroc Center Hawaii program. Youth (ages 13-15), may use the Fitness Center after successfully completing the New Member Orientation and must be supervised by an adult at all times while using fitness equipment.
  8. Shirt and shoes must be worn in all indoor areas and gymnasium. No swim wear or wet clothing is allowed outside of aquatic areas. Any clothing, including logos or messages on apparel, must be acceptable in a family setting.
  9. Open field next to gymnasium is for Kroc Program use only; please do no use for personal use.
  10. All posted rules on the aquatic deck must be followed at all times. Lifeguards may stop any activity which may cause a guest injury or conflict.
  11. Swimsuits and swim shorts must be worn by persons on deck or in the water. Shorts may be knee-length as long as movement is not restricted. Heavy grade walking shorts below the knee are not acceptable. G-string type swimsuits are not allowed. Swim attire must be clean before entering the pool. Infants and toddlers are required to use swim diapers to minimize contamination of the swimming pool.
  12. Bicycles, roller blades (except during programming), skateboards, scooters or heelies are not allowed inside the facility. Pets (excluding service animals) are not allowed on property.
  13. Alcohol and/or illegal drugs are not allowed anywhere on the premises.
  14. Weapons of any kind are not permitted on the premises.
  15. Kroc Center Hawaii reserves the right to terminate membership in response to any immoral or illegal activity by a member.
  16. Use of any electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the locker room areas.
