Code of Conduct & Discipline Policy
In order to facilitate positive life experiences while at The Salvation Army Kroc Center Hawaii, mutual respect between members, guests, and staff is required at all times. Failure to observe these policies will result in disciplinary action and/or termination of membership privileges. Kroc Center Hawaii staff have the right to refuse service to anyone deemed disruptive or abusive.
1. Children, ages 11 and under, must be accompanied while visiting Kroc Center Hawaii.
2. Refrain from the use of foul language, abusive actions, and inappropriate behavior.
3. No one under the age of 13 is allowed in the Weight Room portion of the Health & Wellness Area unless participating in a Kroc Center Hawaii program or class. Members, ages 13-15, may use the Fitness Area after successfully passing the Smart Start for Teens program. Youth, ages 13-15, must be supervised by an adult at all times while using fitness equipment.
4. Bicycles, roller blades (except during programming), skateboards, scooters or heelies are not allowed inside the facility. Pets (excluding service animals) are not allowed on property.
5. With exceptions for special dietary restrictions, outside food is not allowed at The Salvation Army Kroc Center Hawaii.
6. Shirt and shoes must be worn in all indoor areas. No swimwear or wet clothing is allowed outside of aquatic areas. Proper workout attire is required in the fitness area (no street shoes, cut shirts or jeans.) Any clothing, including logos or messages on apparel, must be acceptable in a family setting.
7. Alcohol and/or illegal drugs are not allowed anywhere on the premises.
8. Smoking and/or use of any type of smokeless tobacco are prohibited in the facility or on facility grounds.
9. Weapons of any kind are not permitted on the premises.
10. Kroc Center Hawaii reserves the right to terminate membership in response to any immoral or illegal activity by a member.
